Terms of service

ProductSentry is operated by Cade Samuel Craft LLC, a Utah limited liability company located at 7214 N Silver Creek Way, Eagle Mountain, UT 84005. These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use the site or subscribe to the service. We have kept them in plain English on purpose — the same way we write everything else.

What ProductSentry is

ProductSentry monitors government sources — recalls, state and federal regulations, proposed bills and related notices — and sends you alerts and a monthly brief written in plain English, matched to the products you sell and the states you sell them in.

ProductSentry is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Our summaries are a monitoring and plain-English reading service, not legal counsel, and subscribing does not create an attorney-client relationship. Before you act on anything we send — reformulating a product, pulling a SKU, responding to a regulator — check the original source and talk to a qualified attorney.

Subscriptions and billing

ProductSentry costs $99 per month, billed through Stripe. Your first monthly brief is free — read it in full before you pay for a second. After that, your subscription renews monthly until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time through the Stripe billing portal (linked from our emails) or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for; we do not charge you again after that, and we do not refund partial months.

Accuracy of the service

Our sources are government publications: agency announcements, state legislature records, the Federal Register and similar. Those sources get amended, delayed, withdrawn and occasionally published with errors — and a rule can change between the time we summarize it and the time you read the summary. We work to be accurate and timely, but we do not warrant that the service will catch every item relevant to your products, or that any summary is complete or current. The service is provided "as is."

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, Cade Samuel Craft LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages — lost profits, lost sales, recall costs, fines or penalties — arising from your use of the service or your reliance on its content. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material — pricing, cancellation, or anything else that affects what you are paying for — we will email subscribers before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
